Steam Threadfin


When they were toddlers, I always use Threadfin to cook them porridge. Now they are teens, they don't like it in porridge anymore cos' of the fishy smell!

Wash and pat dry Threadfin with paper towel
Squeeze ginger juice on fish
Cut gingers into slices and lay on top of fish
Spread a little salt evenly
Steam fish in pot of boiling water
While waiting for fish to cook, cut small onions and fry in oil till golden brown
Remove and drain the water after fish is cooked
Scatter fried onions on fish, a little oil from fried onions and light soy sauce

Serve hot with rice or plain porridge
